Our History
Mobile Hope began over 20 years ago with a school nurse who grew to love the children of Maple Hill Estates in Corcoran, MN. Below are some of the highlights over the years...
1991 - Beth McConn began to engage students she would see as the school nurse at Rockford schools.
1995 - Beth began a mini-VBS in the summer to reach out to kids in the mobile home park
1997 - Beth approached Jill, serving as Middle School Youth Pastor to expand the VBS and involve the students
2001 - Expanded VBS with Wooddale Church and Wayzata Free Church partnership
2005 - Womens Bible study groups begin
2007 - Began busing kids to Wednesday evening Adventure Club activities

2005 - Womens Bible study groups begin
2007 - Began busing kids to Wednesday evening Adventure Club activities
2009 - YWAM begins after-school Homework Help program for students once a week.
2010 - Decision was made to be more intentional and establish long term ministry goals
2010 - Leadership team formed with residents, owner of the park, WFC members, teachers, and nonprofits working together
2010 - Community potlucks and food distribution begins with donations from Chipotle
2010 - ESL/ELL classes begin teaching English to adults on-site
2011 - "The Cube" center - Temporary 10' x 30' construction trailer used for 1 year to host programming.
2012 - "Hope House" - expanded to double-wide home for additional programs, relationship building, and meeting space
2012 - CDBG Grant Award! - Community development funds awarded to build permanent activity center on-site.
2015 - Opening of the 3500 sf "Hope Center"
2016 - Expansion to second mobile home community in Dayton, MN
2017 - Expansion to third mobile home community in Rice, MN
2010 - Decision was made to be more intentional and establish long term ministry goals
