Board of Directors
Mobile Hope has seven board members, which include Co-Founders Brian and Jill Dejewski. Our board members have experience in finance, education, marketing, business, and the faith community.
Jim TealBoard Chair - President and COO, Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Vendor Services
Jim is the President & COO of the Vendor Services Division of Mitsubishi HC Capital America, an equipment finance company. He has worked in the vendor equipment finance industry for almost 30 years after starting his career in public accounting. Jim also serves on the boards of other non-profit organizations. Jim and his wife, Stephanie, have three children and attend Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie.

Brian DejewskiExecutive Director, Mobile Hope
Brian is one of the founders of Mobile Hope and is proud to be working along side his wife, Jill. He has served on several boards including Hope For The City (Now MATTER), Twin Cities Workplace Ministries, and Hammers of Hope. He has served as Director of Capacity Building for the National Christian Foundation-Twin Cities, a software implementation specialist with SupplyCore, and now lives in Maple Grove with his wife Jill and two sons, Isaac and Josh.

Jill DejewskiDirector of Programs, Mobile Hope
Jill has been working with Maple Hill Estates mobile home community since 1996. She began with a simple VBS camp once per year and has ramped up the engagement to a fulltime commitment over the many years since. Jill brings a strong passion for helping the kids and families of mobile home communities to have access to the resources that are needed and also to experience the hope that is available as a result of her faith. Jill and Brian live in Maple Grove with their two boys Isaac and Josh.

Mike McBrideBusiness Development, Upsher Smith (Retired)
Mike joined the Mobile Hope board after retiring from Upsher-Smith Laboratories, LLC, a generic pharmaceutical company headquartered in Maple Grove, Minnesota, after 37 years working in a variety of roles in sales, business development and alliance management. His work afforded him the opportunity to serve on industry councils and boards of national trade associations or their foundation fund-raising affiliates. Today, Mike also is on the board of Experience Maple Grove, a Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) for that community. Mike has been in mentoring relationships both professionally, personally and spiritually through his work, family and church affiliations. Mike and his wife Laurie, a retired Osseo Schools elementary school teacher, live in Maple Grove where they attend The Grove Church. and have two married daughters.

Barb PfefferBoard Vice Chair, Vice President (Retired), Federal Reserve Bank
Barb recently retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis as Vice President of the Fed’s national Customer Contact Center. During her 38-year career with the Bank, she worked in banking supervision, business development and several Treasury and financial services operations. Barb has a heart for mentoring and was very active in the Bank’s mentorship program. She also served as a mentor with Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge for several years. Barb lives in Maple Grove with her husband, Steve, and they are both currently homework helpers with Mobile Hope. Barb was also a volunteer with this year’s summer school program at Maple Hill Estates. Barb and Steve have two adult children and one grandchild. Barb and Steve attend Wayzata Free Church.

Missy ScherberOwner and President, T. Scherber Demolition, Excavating, Roll-Off
Missy is a Minneapolis based entrepreneur and is the co-owner/president of T.Scherber, a heavy civil contractor and waste management company. She is proud of her heritage as a hispanic woman business owner and has a heart to enage her business in the life of the community to make a difference. Missy connected with Mobile Hope as a nonprofit serving the community where her business is based and brings a wealth of experience in business development. She is a leader and advocate for women in construction. Missy, her husband Trevor, and their family reside in Corcoran.

Marnae TroxelBoard Secretary - Marketing Manager, Radisson Hotels Americas
Marnae got involved with Mobile Hope after being a small group leader with some of the Maple Hill children attending activities at Wayzata Free Church. She has been on the board since 2013, currently serves as the board secretary and volunteers at various Mobile Hope events. Marnae and her husband Brad live in Plymouth and attend Wayzata Free Church.
