We need quite a few volunteers each and every week in order to deliver the kinds of programs and services that we do.  We also know that you have a lot of opportunities to choose from when it comes to volunteering so thank you for considering Mobile Hope!! ​

Volunteer Opportunities

Individual Opportunities - By far, the most effective opportunites are for individuals and families.  Longer term relationships and regular weekly engagement lead to more meaningful volunteer opportunities and have deeper impact.  We have opportunities to volunteer in any of the following:  

• Homework Help after school program – 1.5 -2 hrs, usually choose one day/week, Mon through Wednesday after school at our Corcoran, Dayton, or Blaine locations.
• TreeHouse Teen (8-12th Graders) youth program – 2 hours, once/week Tues or Thurs 
• Journey 5th/6th grade youth program – 2 Hours, once/week Wed evenings
• Mentoring 1 on 1 or small group/family – Regular contact with youth for activities and relationship building. 
• Partnering with seniors living alone for assistance or relational companionship – Also weekly "coffee hour" connections.​
• It would be so helpful to have some folks willing to be a part of the regular cleaning team for our Hope Center buildings in Corcoran, Dayton, and Blaine. 
  
• Photography Team Volunteer- Use your passion and skills in photography to take pictures at Mobile Hope programs and events on dates of your choosing throughout the year. Photos will be used for our records, website, grant applications and communication publications. 

Small Group Opportunities - At times, small groups will seek to engage together.  These groups can come and serve doing things such as: 

• Small building or home repair projects – Mobile home owners do not often have resources to address home repair and upkeep.  We have groups come in and serve by building front decks or ramps, repairing windows, etc.  
• Engaging one of our programs such as our adult seniors coffee hour or our summer Taco Tuesday events by cooking or serving
• Volunteering at our annual Christmas party 

Large Group Opportunities - We have had large groups of adults come and tackle seasonal or larger projects such as: 

• Community wide spring clean-up and landscaping assistance
• Community gift baskets or Christmas bags to all residents
• Home repair for larger projects (re-siding, building a ramp, roofing)
• Food drive/gathering and distribution on-site

Step 3:  Print your application
Step 4:  Sign the application where necessary
Step 5:  Return the application to Mobile Hope using one of the options below: 

• Scan and Email the application to us at:  [email protected] (Corcoran site) or [email protected] (Dayton site) or [email protected] (Blaine site).
• Mail the form to the Mobile Hope address:  7900 Maple Hill Road  Corcoran, MN 55340 
• Bring the application with you to either Mobile Hope site and drop it off in person
