Education

Homework Help After School Program
Student achievement is critical to long term success.  Our "flagship program" is focused on education.  We partner with Bethel University, Centennial Schools, Spring Lake Park Schools, and lots of volunteers to host homework help for grades K-12 four days each week on Monday through Thursday afternoons from 3:30 - 5:00 pm.
Summer Fun
Our partner agency, the Centennial Schools Community Education program, comes out to the park four days a week from 11-2 pm offering fun and educational games, activities, breakfast and lunch for students during the summer months.  Fridays include field-trips to many exciting adventures around the Twin Cities.

Teen Force
In partnership with the Centennial Schools Community Education program, Teen Force offers 6th-8th grade middle school students weekly activities, crafts, games, speakers and leadership activities all geared toward teens.  Field trips include waterparks, Grand Slam, and more as well as weekly trips to Centennial High School Pool.  Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are available.  
College Scholarships
Several donors have made investments in those choosing college education by providing scholarships to assist in tuition and materials.
Vision Trips to colleges and career options
To aid students to envision a successful future, we provide opportunities for to be exposed to a variety of colleges and careers by visiting college campuses and touring local career sites in small groups.

Healthy Activities

Summer Camp
In partnership with Trout Lake Camps, students are offered the unforgettable experience of week-long summer camp for a reduced fee.
TreeHouse Peer Support Groups
Small groups of teens learning how to identify what they are feeling and offer support to one another in those circumstances.
One-on-one Mentoring
Youth ages 11-17 partnered with trained caring adults to engage in regular intentional time together. 
Community Meals
Building community trust and relationships through a monthly community meal through the summer.

Connection to Resources

Food Distribution and Delivery
Food collected from local retailers around the Twin Cities is made available on-site to families in the park every week through our partnership with Manna Market.   
Clothing and Household Goods
Clothing, furniture, and household Items families may need are made available at local churches and food shelves.   
Immigration and Legal Aid
In partnership with local legal aid firms, families interested in pursuing citizenship or having questions regarding their options are connected with individuals who can help.    

Faith Development

Annual Vacation Bible Camp

Students from throughout the park ages K-5 are invited to participate in our longest running program each year since 1996.  In partnership with local churches, students are presented with morning programs, singing, games, and drama for a week in July.  Afternoons are filled with informal games and relationship building.      
TreeHouse Teen Program
Weekly gathering of teens ages 12-17 where kids can enjoy a meal together, topical teaching related to life challenges and truth, and some fun games together where teens learn they are lovable, capable and worthwhile.
Journey Program
We offer weekly gathering for students in 5th-7th grade so they can enjoy great activities, hear a compelling message of hope, and grow together through an exciting time of life.  
​Bible Study Groups
Groups of adults and teens are given opportunities to participate in Bible study series’ at various locations throughout the park.
