Homework Help / Tutors - Teachers and volunteers are needed to assist students with homework and/or tutor them in their schoolwork
Hope Center Hosts: The Hope Center is a 3500 sf community center with a variety of activities, most of which are run by volunteers. In order for the building to be open, at least three hosts are needed to check families in, be available for questions, and oversee activities.
Mentoring - Having an caring adult from outside of the family walk alongside a young person is one proven key to success!

Food Pick-ups - Food donations are distributed around the park to those that could use a little extra. We are in need of individuals willing to make those food pick-ups, or to serve as back-up for those who are already on the schedule!
ESL (ELL) Teachers - There are many cultures represented in mobile home communities. Teaching English helps those newer to the United States to apply for jobs, get ahead, and become more a part of the world around them.
VBS Volunteers - Each year the youth from Wayzata Free Church and Wooddale Church host a large Vacation Bible School for the kids at Maple Hill. If you are interested in being a part of that, contact Bruce Droogsma at 763-473-9463
Computer Skills Training - When our new community center opens up in the spring, we will have need for volunteers who enjoy teaching computer skills in our new computer lab.
Lead a Group - Do you lead a Cub Scout pack? How about a community sports league? Like art or theater? The young people of Maple Hill would be interested in getting involved with these types of activities and leadership is needed to make that a reality.
Create a program! We know that there are a lot of creative ways that volunteers have come up with to help support the families of Maple Hill Estates. You might have a great idea for something that could be started. If so, contact us and let's see if it can happen!
